COMPETITIVE FENCING

Dynamo’s coaching team features over two dozen world-renowned coaches, including Olympians, world champions, and national team leaders. With their guidance, our fencers consistently excel on the national and international stage. Dynamo athletes have brought home historic victories, such as Eleanor Harvey’s bronze medal at the Paris 2024 Olympics and Nicholas Zhang’s inspiring success as Canada’s youngest Team Canada member.

WEST VANCOUVER SCHOOLS PREMIER FENCING ACADEMY
Our basic Introductory School Program covers the art of Fencing, the history of the sport, and the excitement of Olympic fencing. We provide a fresh and innovative approach to instruction that will inspire and excite even the most skeptical students. The goald of this program is to show your students how unique and inspiring the sport can be if you engage. Your students will be given ample time to Fence as these introductory programs focus on fun! They will learn Fencing specific skills and strategies, increase their balance, flexibility, and coordination, all while building their confidence and interpersonal skills. Regardless of one’s physical abilities or athletic prowess, the sport of fencing is beneficial to all!

CAMPS
Beginner Fencing Camps
Dynamo’s Beginner Fencing Camps are the perfect introduction to the world of fencing! Designed for those new to the sport, these camps focus on teaching the fundamentals in a fun and engaging way. Campers will learn basic techniques, fencing etiquette, and strategies while building confidence, coordination, and focus. With plenty of time on the piste and exciting games, our beginner camps ensure every participant leaves with new skills and great memories.

For advanced fencers looking to elevate their skills, Dynamo’s High-Performance Camps bring together athletes from across Canada and around the world. Led by our elite coaching team and guest Olympians, these camps focus on advanced techniques, tactical mastery, and mental preparation. Participants will benefit from world-class instruction, challenging drills, and the chance to learn directly from top international competitors.
